The Ring Vows

There are two parts of the ring vows. The introduction by the celebrant and then the vows themselves that are of course spoken by the Bride and Groom. Part 1 is directly below. There are similarities between some of the vows but there are differnces.
Scroll down the page to Part 2.

Feel free to adapt the wording if you wish.

    Part 1

Part 1 A
The wedding ring is the outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual bond which unites two loyal hearts in endless love.
It is a seal of the vows you have made to one another.
By the exchange of these tokens of your love, so are your lives
interlaced. What one experiences, so shall the other;
as love builds, so will your bond strengthen and grow.
Look at your rings often,
AND………..as you do, remember the promises that you make today.
BECAUSE…..from today on, the two of you shall be one

Part 1 B
In a moment we witness the giving of rings…..as a symbol of the promises made today.
These rings represent a holy agreement and should…Serve as a reminder to you both
that the vows you both take today before family, friends and before God
Are not temporary, Not conditional, But everlasting.

THEY: represent something continuous like the unbroken circle that they are.
These are not just words to make the service sound nice, these rings are a powerful symbol of your relationship.
Something beautiful, lasting, something sure.
Look at your rings often,
AND………..as you do, remember the promises that you make today.
BECAUSE…..from today on, the two of you shall be one.
