Wedding Ceremony for Helen and Callum

Hello and welcome here this afternoon.

# We all know why we’re here and that it’s a very special time.

Not just for Callum and Helen but for all involved in their lives,
for family and for friends.

# Before we move on, is there anyone here who knows any
reason why this marriage should not proceed, now’s your
chance  to speak up  and say so!!!!

# So as we join together let’s relax, joinin the spirit of what’s
happening  and celebrate the marriage of Callum and Helen.

Who brings Helen to be joined in marriage with Callum?

Bride's mother – I do.

Parents of Helen and Callum, are you willing, now and always to support and strengthen this marriage by upholding this couple with your love and concern?

Both Parents – We do.

Blessing of the Rings

# In a moment we witness the giving of rings as a symbol of
   these promises  made today.

# These rings represent a lifelong agreement.

# They are an outward and visible sign of an inward and
   spiritual bond, which  unite you.

# They are a seal of the vows you have made to one another
   before family and  friends.

# They represent something continuous like the unbroken
circle that they are  and are a powerful symbol of your
relationship – something beautiful and lasting.

# Look at the rings often and as you do remember the promises
   you make today

Ring Vows

and everlasting  symbol of our love.

Pronouncement

# Callum and Helen we have heard you promise to share your
   lives in marriage.
# We recognize and respect the covenant you have made.
# It is not this ceremony that makes your marriage real but the
honesty and sincerity of what you have said and done here
   before your friends and family.

It is now my pleasure to declare you husband and wife.

Callum you may now kiss your bride.

# Now the ceremony is over and the experience of
living day by day as husband and wife is about to begin.

# Remember – keep your voices tender,
# your words affectionate and treat your partner as you would
   like to be treated yourself.

Family and friends I present to you Mr and Mrs ---------.
